According to the AeroFlexx website, adopting the AeroFlexx Pak brands can significantly reduce plastic upfront. A brand could eliminate up to 70% of plastic compared to their current rigid bottles. The brand also can incorporate up to 50% recycled content. In addition, the Paks can be fully curbside-recyclable where all plastic bottles are accepted and have earned Interseroh's "Made for Recycling '' seal. The company also estimates that if CPG companies can shift 2.5 billion product units to AeroFlexx Paks, it will save 599 million kilowatt-hours of energy and 65 million gallons of gas. Furthermore, CO2 emissions would be reduced by 257 million pounds, and landfills would be spared from 981 million pounds of waste.
Consumers prefer the AeroFlexx Pak over traditional rigid bottles as they can easily tear off the top tab and control the dispense amount with a simple squeeze. Then the self-sealing valve won't leak or create gunky build-up between uses. Removing the need for extra packaging materials such as nonrecyclable packing peanuts or bubble wrap during transportation.
